Prayers and Visualizations You Can Use During These Times The following prayers and visualizations were offered at Ananda Village on September 11, 2001. These prayers and visualizations are still, one year later, a powerful way to help the world grow toward greater understanding and peace. Prayers & Visualizations for the upliftment of those souls killed in this act of terrorism: Visualize Light all around the remains of the destroyed towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, and surrounding the Pentagon and Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. Feel that this Light is penetrating the shock and horror of the victim's last moments of consciousness. Send vibrations of peace and Light to them all. Feel that you are gently lifting up their astral eyes to behold the Light, waiting to shepherd any receptive souls in need. Offer the prayer to these departed souls, "Look up! Look up!" Let this Light be stronger than the horror of these dark events. Also send Light and Love to the families of all those souls who have lost a loved one in this event. May their hearts find healing and transformation as they transmute the shock and grief of this event into greater light, love, and divine service to other needy souls. May they find the Light that shines in the darkness.A Light that is Omnipresent and shines throughout all of creation no matter what karmic events, created by mankind, come to pass. That Light is Eternal, beyond all swings of karma. (End each prayer by chanting three AUMS, sending Light out into the world) AUM, AUM, AUM Prayers & Visualizations for all leaders and all nations to make wise and righteous decisions in the days ahead: Visualize the US leaders in all branches of government putting aside differences and working as a team for the good of all. May they feel their dharma to act as instruments of light and wisdom. Visualize the President of the US and other leaders with clear light in their hearts and minds. See this Divine Light coming into each of them through the spiritual eye and medulla and then down the spine to the tailbone. May they be alert, wise and open to divine guidance flowing through the channels of intelligence and intuition. See this light in all world leaders and throughout the leaders of world religions. May the true light of God shine through all religions guiding many souls to that highest Light. AUM, AUM, AUM Prayers & Visualizations for the healing of the planet Earth: Visualize the Earth floating between your hands. See the aura of the Earth filled with harmony and Light. Gently move your hands in space over the Earth. Prayerfully invite the presence of God to minister to the earth during this time of disharmony. May souls who are receptive to the Light now become beacons of that Light, spreading rays to all souls around them, encouraging them in their goodness and strength. May Light shine through all hearts of those who desire peace and well-being for all nations. May this desire for Peace overwhelm the forces of darkness that seek for only destruction. May the true Light of God shine forth through all religions on the planet. May the One Light of God shine through all religious leaders, unifying and harmonizing their efforts. Each religion can reach many souls who otherwise might be trapped in darkness. May Peace prevail and may the leaders of all nations be inspired by this opportunity to bring guidance for the welfare of all nations. The true strength of America lies within the good karma of its spiritual nature. May this good karma be strengthened and clarified at this time, and may this Light guide and protect her, and all nations under her care. Visualize legions of angels surrounding the Earth, heralding this ever-present possibility of Peace. May we hold this highest vision of Light and Peace no matter what the forces of delusion present before our eyes now and in the future. God's Light is alive. God's Light is here now for us to claim. We must each claim it within our hearts despite any negative outward circumstances. See this Divine Light that is more powerful than any acts of darkness, see this Light surrounding the aura of the earth as you pray now.
